Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI) is proud to announce an official partnership with TDSoccer to enhance the delivery of futsal training opportunities within the SYSI Futsal Academy and to further integrate futsal into the development pathway of the Alliance Academy program.
This strategic partnership signifies an important step forward in the growth of futsal in Saskatoon and reflects our shared commitment to elevating technical development for youth players. As part of the partnership:
Through this partnership, SYSI and TDSoccer are aligning to provide a more comprehensive, year-round player development model that includes both futsal and soccer as complementary training environments. This initiative also aligns with Canada Soccer’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model and supports the national emphasis on futsal as a critical component of technical development.
Together, SYSI and TDSoccer are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and accessibility in futsal, creating new opportunities for players, coaches, and the broader soccer community in Saskatoon.

"We are delighted and humbled to formally collaborate with TDSoccer in advancing the role of futsal within our player development framework. This partnership brings together shared values around technical excellence, innovation, and athlete-centered programming. By integrating futsal into the SYSI Futsal Academy and the foundational stages of our Alliance Academy, we’re providing players with the tools to sharpen their decision-making, creativity, and technical precision in dynamic game environments. In addition, SYSI looks forward to working with the Saskatchewan Soccer Association and our member zone clubs in providing necessary futsal coach education, to assist in the growth and sustainability of the futsal game. Overall, the partnership with TDSoccer is an important step in aligning with national best practices and ensuring our players have every opportunity to reach their full potential." - Ian Knight, SYSI Technical Lead:
