ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc., in conjunction with the Alliance Advisory Committee, is proud to present the Saskatoon Alliance Academy. For players aged U11-U15, the Alliance Academy provides high-quality supplementary training opportunities designed to complement regular league games and Zone training programs. At U16 and above, players transition into the full-time Alliance Academy/PSL team program, focusing on advanced technical, tactical, and competitive development. Our player-centric model is dedicated to building players’ confidence, competence, and character. Members are encouraged to review the Alliance Program Reporting Guide for information on how to report any concerns or issues, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all players.

Alliance Coach Application

Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI) is pleased to invite applications from qualified coaches to join the Saskatoon Alliance male and female programs for ages U11 to Adult. These roles offer the opportunity to work within a unified, high-quality development environment led by the SYSI Technical Lead, featuring access to top-tier facilities and ongoing professional development. Coaches will be integrated into a collaborative coaching team with mentorship provided.

Registration: Register by Tuesday September 29th with a fee of $65 to SYSI. Early bird pricing is available until Thurs September 24th for a fee of $45. Only those registered by the end of day on Tuesday September 29th with payment will be accepted into the tryout.

Players who are sick or injured and can’t attend tryouts must contact the office, info@saskatoonyouthsoccer.ca, prior to the registration deadline.Times may be adjusted based on registration numbers.

Only 20 players per age group will be selected.

Selected players will receive invitations beginning Fri Oct 9 and must accept their spot and submit payment by Wed Oct 14

  • Players born in 2011 (U16) or 2010 (U17) *overage players will be permitted to a maximum of five players per game day roster and a maximum of three overage players on the field at any given time.

Training: Program fees include two 1.5-hr training sessions per week (total 31 sessions) on half field turf from November 1 to March 20.

Training schedules will be determined based on coach availability and will primarily take place at the Martensville Recreation Centre (typically Wed/Fri/Sat), with some sessions held at the Saskatoon Sports Centre (typically Tues/Fri).

The Alliance Performance Plus (APP) is a specialized ‘opt-in’ once-per-week, training initiative for motivated U15-U17 players in the Alliance Academy/PSL program. The APP offers advanced skill development, physical conditioning, and college pathway guidance to help players maximize their potential.

Athlete Assistance Fund
SYSI has a dedicated fund for those who meet eligible financial criteria. You must register your child with a Zone or the Saskatoon Alliance prior to applying for funding from the Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. Athlete fund. You should apply as soon as possible after your child has been registered, as it can take up to 30 days for applications to be processed. Funding cannot be applied to program that have already ended.
