Incomplete Games - Rule update
With outdoor season being such a compact season with tournament weekends it is difficult to reschedule rained out games. Inclement weather such as lightning, rain, etc. have much larger factors in game completion during the outdoor season and the halves are longer than the indoor season game length.
As such, the following rule has been updated and in effect immediately for the remainder of the Outdoor 2022 season:
22.2.1 Youth league games will be considered complete once two-thirds of the scheduled game time is played during the indoor season or one half of the scheduled game time is played during the outdoor season; as determined by the Referee. Incomplete league games will be rescheduled at the discretion of the SYSI office.
