Call for Nominations - Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. (SYSI) Board of Directors
The SYSI Board Development Committee is seeking nominations for open positions on the Board of Directors. The Board operates under a governance model that separates governance from operations to ensure effective leadership and accountability.
SYSI aims for a diverse Board representing various areas of Saskatoon and a wide range of skills and backgrounds. The Board particularly encourages nominations from women, individuals with experience in finance, governance, or management, and those from the north-east and west sides of the city—but all qualified candidates are welcome.
Nomination Process - Deadline Mon Nov 17:
- Candidates must be nominated by someone through the online Nomination Form by Mon Nov 17, who provides a short description of their qualifications and community involvement and may include a brief bio or résumé.
- Candidates shall meet with a member(s) of the SYSI Board Development Committee to review information about SYSI’s mission, goals, and board responsibilities before confirming interest.
- Approved nominations are presented for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Wed Nov 26.
SYSI values equity and encourages nominations from women, Indigenous peoples, people with disabilities, and visible minorities.
