U9 Community Discoveries Program
Program Overview - U9 Community Discoveries
Who: Open to all U9 Community Association players
What: A 5-week indoor development program focused on ball mastery and technical skill-building
When: Offered four times during the indoor season:
- Cycle 1 - Mondays (Jan 12 - Feb 9)
- Cycle 2 - Tuesdays (Jan 13 - Feb 10)
- Cycle 3 - Mondays (Feb 23 - Mar 23)
- Cycle 4 - Tuesdays (Feb 24 - Mar 24)
(Each player may register for one cycle only to allow space for others)
Where: Saskatoon Soccer Centre (Sherwood Field)
Session Groups:
- Mondays - Boys & Girls
- Tuesdays - Boys & Girls
Time: 4:15 PM - 5:10 PM
Capacity: 20 players per session group & up to 6 Volunteer Coaches
Price: $70 per player registration & Free for coach registration
Volunteer Coach Incentive:
- Parent coaches who assist for the full 5-week program and complete all certificate requirements will receive a 50% refund of their child’s U9 Discoveries registration fee
- Volunteer coaches will also complete the ‘on-field’ portion of the Canada Soccer “Learn to Train” coaching certificate (online Theory module to be completed prior). Saving time and $$ as coaches continue their journey on into U11.
